THE MOZARTCIRCLE ALMANAC: YEAR 1775 ver. 20260228 HOME [A] - Important Composers in Carpani's 1812 List • Haydn J [No. 1] • Mozart [No. 25] [Ia] - Composers: Births [Ib] - Composers: Deaths The composers with [#number#] are those considered by Carpani for his exclusive list of year 1812, you can find published by MozartCircle here: http://mozartcircle.porticodoro.com/mzc/scholarworks/?Id=April2020 WARNING: ABOUT THE DATING OF COMPOSITIONS The dating of many works from this period is mostly derived from informed speculation (also for Mozart's works, but especially for Haydn's works). The printed publishing of a work, in many cases, happened ca. 5 or even 10 years after its real composition and/or its premiere. Many dates of orchestral or chamber music are determined only by the advertising system of that period. The dating you find in this Almanac tries to represent the most accurate conclusions established by scholars. |
